AOE WEBMASTERS: BUDAPEST

Budapest, one of the jewels of Europe welcomed webmasters for a day of sightseeing and networking. As a finale to the AOE XPO the day was the perfect way to round off a successful show.

For the first part of the day attendees were treated to a sightseeing tour of the city. As the sunset and the beers flowed the illuminated sights looked especially beautiful. The tour swung through the monumental Heroes Square, along the boulevards of Budapest, past the Chain Bridge, and then for a pit stop at the House of Hungarian Wines.

To facilitate networking, and to educate the palette, guests were given free roam of the impressive cellar and given the opportunity to help themselves to over 50 different varieties of wine. Most took on this challenge with aplomb!

Educated and inebriated the AOE Webmasters staggered back to the coach and were ferried to a final breathtaking view of Budapest by night from a top the Gellért Hill. After taking in the views it was time to continue the party in Franz Liszt Square, and as the Hungarian beer flowed the networking continued late into the night. CLICK HERE to see photos.
